I’ve been accepted into Theatre Bay Area’s inaugural ATLAS program, designed to help playwrights focus on creating a career path. It’s a training and mentoring track where each playwright gets assistance mapping out a career and identifying appropriate stretch goals. Twenty Bay Area playwrights will participate in this first program.
Advanced Training Leading Artists to Success (ATLAS) was initially developed by TBA in 2008 as a resource for actors to identify personalized career goals, and to better understand where they fit in the Bay Area theatrical landscape. In 2012 they launched their inaugural round for directors. I’m excited to be included in the new ATLAS group.
