After a bunch of years, I’ve updated my playwriting website: the site you’re reading right now. I primarily redesigned to make the blog less central, especially on mobile devices. I don’t blog that much, and I wanted to feature my plays front and center. I also added review snippets to the front page, since I’ve gotten some good ones.
Another major reason to redesign was to take full advantage of the wonderful production photos I’ve accumulated over the years. My designer said the photos were almost hidden on the old site, and I agree. The majority of the photos are by my friend Jim Norrena of ACT OUT Photography (pictured above). Jim is a fabulous photographer and very fun to work with. Not only does he put his subjects at ease, but he captures emotion and movement in his production shots. If you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area and need a headshot or production photos, go to Jim! Reach him here. He also happens to be a wonderful playwright.
I hope you enjoy the new site. It felt great to get refreshed!
